Where Your Money Goes

We work hard to ensure your generous donation makes the biggest impact, where it’s needed most. In 2022/23, 91c of every dollar was spent on our lifesaving programs, livelihood projects, responding to emergencies and helping to create a more equal world .are often needed to best serve our children

Your charitable donation goes a long way in developing countries, where services and goods are typically much more cost effective than they are in the developed world.

In developing countries like Haiti, $700 can cover the costs of quality health care for two patients in a hospital in rural Haiti. Likewise, that same $700 donated to an effective charity can protect 1,000 people from iodine deficiency disorders, such as debilitating brain damage. The bottom line: your money goes further abroad. We do not have the financial resources to buy dozens of new cars and to pay expatriates even though they are competent. We preferably welcome foreign volunteers who want to help us with their skills either in the short or long term.
